His reported throuple with Sian Osborne and Una Healy – which Una denied — not only made lads dream of having two women, it also seems to have inspired a TV show.

David Haye’s infamous ‘throuple’ has inspired a shock new TV show which follows a couple’s move into polygamy

A series about couples thinking of swapping monogamy for adventure is now in development.

That may involve making their relationship “open” or working with others on some sort of “group dynamic”.

An ad for participants says: “Have you been questioning mono-gamy? A major broadcaster is making a documentary exploring the journey from monogamy to ethical non-monogamy or polyamory.

“We are casting couples who are thinking of exploring an open relationship or are in the early stages of exploring this relationship style.

If this sounds like where you’re at, we would love to hear from you. Reach out for a no-obligation chat.”

The appeal has been made by Brinkworth, a TV production firm that has made a great variety of shows for different channels — including Chloe Madeley: A Family Affair for ITV, Cold Case Investigators for the BBC and Surgeons: A Matter Of Life Or Death for Channel 5.

It’s unclear which major broadcaster the new show is being made for, but Channel 4 or BBC Three seem likely candidates.

I revealed last year how E4 was making a second run of Love Triangle, a reality series that follows unlucky-in-love singles who are matched with two potential partners in the hope of finding romance.

They then pick one to move in with before, in a twist, the second arrives to join the love nest.

The new show is expected to be equally complicated.

SHE looks like Catherine Cawood, she sounds like Catherine Cawood and she certainly acts like Catherine Cawood.

But you’ll notice that Sarah Lancashire’s Happy Valley cop character is never referred to by name in the new Yorkshire Tea advert, which debuted tonight on ITV.

That’s probably because, even though it’s a blatant homage to hero sergeant Catherine, it’s a tad tricky to use a BBC drama character in an ad shown on commercial channels.

You’ll note that Sarah is not even in police gear, but instead wears an outfit labelled “Yorkshire Tea Security”.

The tricky manoeuvres might also explain why the ad is only coming out now, a year after the finale of Happy Valley on BBC One.

Even so, it’s a brilliant parody, as “Catherine” tracks a biscuit thief as if it was the crime of the century.
